Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for LatentEdge services and products. It sits alongside our Terms of Use, and any signed project agreement takes precedence where the two differ.
1. AI workflow audits
The audit fee is fully refundable any time before the audit work begins. Once we have started, the fee is non-refundable, because the work is the deliverable. If you engage us for a build project afterwards, the audit fee is credited against your first project invoice as described in your proposal.
2. Project and consulting work
Project engagements are governed by a written agreement and are typically billed by milestone. You may cancel a project at any time by emailing us; you pay for milestones already delivered and any work in progress at the agreed rate, and we refund the remainder of anything prepaid. Delivered and accepted milestones are non-refundable.
3. Software subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the Stripe customer portal linked in your receipts, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not prorate partial periods, but if something is broken on our side and we cannot fix it, we will refund the current period in full.
4. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after a valid cancellation, tell us and we will refund the difference promptly. No questions asked.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your payment and tell us what you purchased and when. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
